Incident at Thunder Bay, Ontario
Summary
1997-06-06: The aircraft was inbound to Thunder Bay on a routine mail run. The flight which originated at Winnipeg with enroute stops at Fort Frances and Atikokan. The pilot advised Thunder radio that she had alternator problems and may have to arrive at Thunder Bay Nordo. The aircraft arrived Thunder Bay without further difficulties. The pilot extended the gear manually and an uneventful landing was accomplished. UPDATE: Company Maintenance Personnel replaced the right alternator and the 50-AMP circuit breaker assembly, and the aircraft was returned to service.
