Incident at 40 NM east of Goose Bay.
Summary
1997-01-02: The PA32 was out of St.John's enroute to Goose Bay when the pilot reported a rough running engine. The pilot then diverted and landed safely in St. Anthony at 1518z. TSB evaluating. **UPDATE** Corrections to details. The aircraft N9277B was 40 NM east of Charlottetown enroute from Bangor to St. John's when the engine started to run rough. The pilot reported he suspected water in the fuel. The pilot requested and received clearance for a diversion to Sydney where the aircraft landed withut further incident at 1118 AST. After the aircraft landed the pilot was observed inspecting the aircraft, he then filed an IFR flight plan for St. John's and the aircraft departed at 1205 AST. No further problems were encountered on the flight from Sydney to St. John's TSB case closed.
