Incident at Halifax NS
Summary
1996-11-28: Remarks: This occurence took place on 96/11/25. Air Nova 893, a BA46 was in the process of landing runway 33. Air Canada 610, on final for runway 24 and awaiting landing clearance, elected to go around at approximately one half mile on final. The aircraft subsequently requested and received radar vectors for another approach and landing on runway 24 at 1735z. Weather at 1700z : FEW clouds at 3 thousand, estimated 10 thousand broken, 25 thousand overcast, visibility 15 miles. UPDATE: The TSB has advised that they will not be investigating this incident.
