Incident at 53/34 N 045/28W
Summary
1996-11-12: The 747 was enroute from Shannon to New York at FL310 when the #3 engine oil pressure was observed to be low. The crew advised Gander ACC that they were carrying out a precautionary shutdown of the engine and requested a descent to FL260. Gander cleared the aircraft to FL260, and the aircraft continued to destination. TSB closed.
