Incident at 45/00 N 045/52 w


1996-11-12: At 16:35 UTC the aircraft was enroute from St.John's to the Azores when the engine began running rough. The pilot turned the aircraft westbound for St.John's. At 18:04 UCT the pilot reported that he was at 9000 feet and the engine had quit. The pilot was preparing to ditch the aircraft when the engine was sucessfully started and a climb initiated. SAR was dispatched to escort the aircraft back to St.John's where it landed safely at 19:10z. On November 2. 1996 the pilot experienced engine difficulties with this aircraft and diverted to St.John's where maintenance had inspected the aircraft. (RE: CADOR 96A0848.) TSB case closed.
