1996-10-16: The flight was IFR from Gander to Moncton, at 12000ft. The pilot reported engine problems and then reported an engine failure. The aircraft requested a vector to the nearest point of land. A DH8 in the vicinity was requested to divert to the aid of the aircraft in distress.
