Incident at Halifax, N.S.


1996-09-23: On arrival the pilot requested a fly-by the control tower to determine if the landing gear appeared down and locked. With the assistance of the ERS it was determined that the gear appeared to be down but unable to confirm locked status. The aircraft circled in order to burn fuel and landed without further incident with ERS on standby.
