Incident at CYR724
Summary
1996-09-09: The pilot of the homebuilt aircraft was on a flight from Shearwater N.S. to Fredericton N.B. He reported 12 miles SE of Fredericton to the FSS. FSS checked the DF and advised the pilot that he was within CYR724. FSS then requested CFB Gagetown to "Check Fire" and then requested the aircraft to leave the CYR724 . The pilot did not realize that the area was active and did not see any NOTAMS. FSS advised him that the area was active constantly. TSB no involvement.
