Summary
1996-07-13: The ultralight was involved in an accident during training. The student/owner and instructor were on board. One person suffered a severe leg injury. TSB closed. *UPDATE* The float equipped aircraft was in cruise flight on base leg when the student felt a vibration through the airframe. The instructor immediately took control and the aircraft nosed over and impacted the ground in a near vertical attitude. No reason was given for the loss of control.
