Incident at Halifax, N.S.


1996-07-11: While enroute from Toronto to St. John's, Nfld., the pilot declared an emergency due to a cracked windshield on the captain's side. The windshield had suddenly gone "pop" and the outer layer shattered in a web type pattern. There was no loss of pressurization and the flight landed without incident. TSB case closed.
