Accident at Charlottetown, PEI

Summary

1996-07-08: Just prior to rotation, the landing gear folded. The aicraft contacted the runway and slid to a stop off the side of the runway. The aircraft received substantial damage; no injuries. The pilot reported that the landing gear was indicating 3 green and the handle was in the down position. Maintenance will advise of their findings after they inspect the aircraft. TSB case closed.
