Accident at Baker Lake, N.B.

Summary

1996-07-08: The float equipped ultralight aircraft was over Baker Lake in a turn about 30 feet from shore when one wing struck the water. The aircraft flipped over and sank. The pilot was not injured and was rescued by a nearby boater. The pilot reported that he believed the aircraft stalled just prior to water contact. TSB case closed.
