Incident
at GREATER MONCTON ROMEO LEBLANC INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Summary
1996-06-27: The pilot advised that the right main gear was down but not indicating locked. The pilot did not request ERS but was told that it would take 15 - 20 minutes to have them in place. The aircraft made a fly by and the tower confirmed that the gear did appear down. A touch and go was carried out but the indication remained the same. The pilot then requested ERS and held until the first two arrived 15 minutes later. The aircraft landed safely at 0701z with three ERS units on site. TSB closed. *UPDATE* Maintenance determined that the indication problem was due to a faulty gear down lock switch.
