Incident at Charlottetown, PEI.
Summary
1996-06-26: ATL404 (DHC-8) was on a flight from Halifax and cleared straight in on ILS RWY03 for the approach. ROY1631 was cleared to depart RWY03 and climb to 6000 feet on a heading of 290 degrees without a departure restriction. ROY1631 (B727) departed at 1356z at which time ATL404 may not have been the required 3 min. or 4 miles from the departure runway. TSB evaluating. *UPDATE* A review of the radar tapes determined that the 4 mile separation requirement had not been compromised. TSB closed.
