Summary

1996-06-11: The aircraft departed Gander at 0337z. While approaching 50w the crew advised of a warning light indicating an overheated left main gear compartment. The aircraft returned to Gander and landed safely at 0448z with CFR standing by. Maintenance determined that the brakes were the cause of the indication. TSB closed.
