Accident at Goose Bay, Labrador.

Summary

1998-02-18: While in formation with another aircraft for a high speed taxi test, the pilot lost control resulting in the aircraft leaving the runway at approximately the half way point. The nosewheel dug into the soft ground alongside the runway which caused the aircraft to cartwheel and explode. The pilot sustained severe burns, the second person crew member escaped relatively unscathed.
