Incident at Nain, Labrador (Aerodrome - runway or taxiway surface condition)


1997-03-25: The pilot attempted to land as near to the threshold as possible due to an apparent slippery runway. The main landing gear struck a snow bank resulting in the main landing gear separating from the fuselage. The aircraft slid to a stop on the runway. No injuries. TSB case closed.
