Incident at Gander Oceanic Airspace (ATS operating irregularity)
1997-03-25: Gander Area Control Centre (ACC) relayed a clearance to the AAL flight via datalink to Moncton ACC which contained information to climb to FL350 instead of the intended FL 330. This clearance resulted in a confliction with two other aircraft . The estimated separation between aircraft was 20 miles laterally instead of the required 60 miles. No TSB involvement.
