Incident at Moncton , N.B

Summary

1997-03-25: While on approach, the pilot advised that the right main landing gear did not indicate down and locked. A fly-by by a company pilot who happened to be at the airport confirmed that the gear appeared to be down and locked. The aircraft landed safely with ERS on standby. Maintenance corrected the problem which was related to a faulty microswitch and the aircraft returned to service. TSB case closed.
