Incident at 80 miles east of Sydney, N.S.
Summary
1997-03-25: The pilot advised that the #2 engine had failed and requested clearance to JFK. The crew subsequently requested clearance to Gander due weather at JFK. At 170 miles from Gander the pilot declared an emergency and requested ERS on arrival. After dumping fuel, the aircraft landed safely. TSB evaluating.
