Incident at ST. JOHN'S INTL NL (CYYT) (Conflict - loss of separation, ATS operating irregularity)
Summary
1997-03-25: NWA51 (DC10) and FCAU (Canadian Airlines B767), were westbound on converging tracks under radar coverage. The controller failed to identify a confliction until the aircraft converged to within 3 miles when 5 miles radar separation was required. TSB case closed.
