Incident at J.A. DOUGLAS MCCURDY SYDNEY AIRPORT

Summary

1997-03-25: The Navajo was departing Sydney enroute to Charlottetown, just as the aircraft was rotated the crew detected a vibration. This was attributed to a loose access panel provided servicing the oxygen bottle. The aircraft returned and landed without incident. The panel was secured and the aircraft completed its planned trips. Maintenance replaced the Dzus fastener when the aircraft arrived back at base.
