Incident at Yarmouth, NS
Summary
1997-03-25: The helicopter pilot reported the #1 engine had failed at 1529z. The aircraft was on a VFR flight 10nm North of Yarmouth searching for Balloon GBJWD. The aircraft landed at the airport at 1539z. No assistance requested or emergency declared. Maintenance indicated that it appears the #1 Compressor bearing had failed. TSB closed.
