Incident at EDMONTON CITY CENTRE / BLATCHFORD AB (CYXD)
Summary
1996-01-19: During shutdown, no. 2 propeller continued to turn and ground crew observed smoke from no. 2 engine. Flight crew carried out emergency procedure, discharged the fire extinguisher bottles, evacuated the cabin and called ERS. Maintenance reported no engine fire, but smoke was caused by the no. 2 starter which had not disengaged.
