Incident at Peace River, Alberta
Summary
1996-01-19: On climb-out crew noted the torque no. 2 engine began to fluctuate about 15-20%. The electronic control unit was switched to manual but the torque continued to fluctuate. Aircraft returned and landed safely. Company maintenance carried out a power assurance run and other system tests, but were unable to duplicate the conditions. Aircraft returned to service.
