Incident at Calgary, Alberta
Summary
1996-01-19: Shortly after departure, tire retread was found on runway and identified as coming from FPCA. Pilot was advised and ERS was requested at London/Heathrowe and landed safely. Upon inspection it was confirmed that no. 1 main wheel tire retread was missing, both casings were still inflated.
