Accident at CASTLEGAR

Summary

1995-11-28: N99205 was enroute Calgary Alberta/Battle Ground Wash/Hillsborough Oregon altitude 16,000 while in controlled airspace disappeared from radar at 0246Z east of Castlegar B.C. No subsequent radio contact. Prior to disappearing, Seattle Centre observed a descent of 4500' within 30 seconds. 5 U.S. S.O.B. Air search is in progress on both sides of the border.
