Incident at VICTORIA
Summary
1995-11-14: CDR1229 missed approach due to poor visibility and probably lack of airfield lighting. Victoria Tower reported airport electricians had shutdown airfield lighting due to sign installation work. Pilot asked for a time the lights would be back in service prior to commencing next approach. Aircraft landed safely at 1856Z. Significant operational impact as there was a 30 minute delay in locating electricians.
