Incident at VANCOUVER INTL BC (CYVR) (Conflict - IFR & VFR)
Summary
1995-10-27: The King Air 90 had departed Victoria and was climbing eastbound to 13,000 feet, with a corrected clearance to 12,000 feet. N9PL had departed Vancouver and was climbing southbound to FL180. Although the Gulfstream was instructed to increase its rate of climb the two aircraft passed with less than three miles horizontally, or 1,000 foot vertically of each other.
