Incident at VICINITY OF CASTLEGAR
Summary
1995-10-30: At 2355Z, the pilot contacted Castlegar FSS and reported that he was disoriented and was requesting headings. He had departed "The Dales", Oregon, and was enroute to Kelowna. The FSS on duty contacted Vancouver ACC and the aircraft position was confirmed as 50nm SE of Castlegar. Headings were provided by ACC and were relayed to the pilot by the FSS. At 0037Z, the aircraft passed overhead Castlegar and was able to resume normal navigation.
