at HOPE
Summary
1995-10-15: Shortly after take-off, the ultralight encountered moderate, low-level turbulence. The pilot lost control of the aircraft and struck the windsock pole, spinning the aircraft around 180 degrees, the ultralight then struck a tree and came to rest upright on the ground. The pilot received minor injuries, but the aircraft was destroyed.
