Incident at LILLOOET

Summary

1995-08-28: The Bell 205 helicopter was being used for heli-logging and was returning to the destination landing area with an external sling-load of logs. The pilot experienced a loss of tail rotor power and jettisoned the load. He then made a forced landing into a heavily wooded mountain slope. The helicopter was substantially damaged, but the pilot escaped without injury.
