Incident at WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C.

Summary

1995-08-22: FSS Williams Lake noticed the Cessna 172 taxi off the runway and broadcast down and clear. No prior radio transmission heard from that aircraft by FSS or other aircraft in the area. FSS requested pilot come in to FSS, and also to remind passenger that smoking was not permitted on the ramp, especially while leaning on fuel pump. Aircraft departed for Fort St. John at 1526Z. Fort St. John FSS was informed of the communications difficulties with the aircraft.
