Incident at 20 NM E of Vancouver

Summary

1996-06-12: During descent into the Vancouver area UAL flight 1250 received a TCAS alert and took evasive action. The other aircraft, GUKI was climbing through 6500 feet ASL and was outside the Vancouver Terminal Area. UKI had called Terminal on 125.2 but had not yet been identified at the time of the occurrence. A TCAS report has been filed.
