Accident at COFFIN LAKE(18 SE SMITHERS)

Summary

1996-04-23: During the landing phase of the flight the aircraft struck a stump sticking through the ice on the lake. The pilot was the sole occupant and was not injured however the aircraft recieved substaintial damage to the under carriage and strut. The aircraft could not be flown out and ACC was notified by Smithers FSS.
