Incident at PRINCE RUPERT
Summary
1996-04-23: The pilot made repeated attempts to start the left engine. The FSS observed fire on the ground underneath the left engine and attempted to contact the pilot. After no response from the aircraft, the CFR was notified and upon arrival at the aircraft, found the fire had been extinguished by the pilot. Assessment of the damage to the aircraft is still ongoing.
