Incident at Geraldton, Ontario (vicinity of)
Summary
1995-11-28: Aircraft was on an IFR flight from Thompson, MB to Geraldton. At FL210, 111 DME from Geraldton, pilot contacted YAM FSS declaring an emergency. Pilot was instructed to contact YWG ACC but was unable to. Pilot requested descent. Pilot cancelled emergency. Apparently, left engine encountered fuel starvation, which the pilot remedied. It was the pilot's opinion that there was ice in the pump at FL210 (temp. -38) and that they flew on one engine for approximately 30 seconds. Once the second engine was operational, the flight continued and landed at Geraldton without further incident. No reported damage or injuries to the four SOBs. Ops. Impact -- unknown.
