Incident at TORONTO / BUTTONVILLE MUNICIPAL ON (CYKZ)
Summary
1995-09-30: A Toronto Airways Limited flightline supervisor queried Toronto F.S.S. if C-GWGD had landed elsewhere prior to arriving back at Toronto (Buttonville) Municipal Airport (CYKZ). The Toronto (Buttonville) F.S.S. Specialists had no information. The flightline supervisor indicated that the aircraft had incurred damage consisting of 1.5 inches missing on each blade of the left engine and that 3 inches of the remaining blades were bent inward. Queries to Toronto ACC indicated the aircraft had reported 35NM south of Toronto, inbound to Buttonville, but nothing further. A runway inspection did not reveal any indication of debris or markings on runway. Further details unknown. Ops. impact -- unknown.
