Incident at Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario
Summary
1995-09-23: Pilot declared an emergency due right main gear not indicating down. Tower controller advised FSS and firehall. Aircraft spent approximately 1.5 hours burning of excess fuel and coordinating (through the tower) with company operations. Air crew made decision to belly land aircraft, but on final attempt, gear indicated down correctly. Aircraft landed without further incident at 1703Z. Ops. Impact -- minimal.
