Accident at OTTAWA / ROCKCLIFFE ON (CYRO)

Summary

1995-09-01: Initial information from T.S.B. Initial Notification (#A95O0177): The aircraft (C-GAXF) was being flown in circuits at the Ottawa (Rockcliffe) Airport (CYRO). The student pilot was carrying out circuits with the Cessna 150M aircraft. On the third circuit landing, the aircraft bounced, porpoised and landed heavily on the nose landing gear. The engine mounts were bent and the fuselage skin wrinkled aft of the firewall on the left side of the aircraft. No reported injuries. Ops. impact -- unknown.
