Incident at over Baffin Island
Summary
1995-08-22: The plane was en-route to Vancouver when the crew called Baffin (HF) Radio to advise that they had a passenger suffering an apparent heart attack on board. A passenger doctor was attending to the patient but the crew requested information on available services at Iqaluit. At 1816Z, information on Iqualuit was passed to the crew (could handle a B747; fuel was available; etc.). At 1818Z, the pilot indicated that the passenger appeared to be stabilized and they would be proceeding to destination. Ops. impact -- unknown.
