Incident at near Timmins (Aerodrome, runway or taxiway shutdown, Aerodrome - operations)

Summary

1995-07-28: Shortly after departure from Timmins Airport (CYTS), the flight crew advised the Toronto ACC Controller of a warning light which indicated a fire in the aircraft's right engine. The engine was shut down and aircraft returned to Timmins. ERS were on standby for the uneventful landing on runway 28 at 2033Z. Ops. impact -- runway 10/28 was closed for approximately 15 minutes until C-GILM was towed from runway.
