at Mountain View, Ontario
Summary
1995-07-12: Immediately following takeoff by the student, the instructor took control on finding the glider high and to the left. Control transferred back to student. Student again climbed high and to the left. This position, combined with turbulent air resulted in slack in the rope. Instructor took control and attempted to return to the proper position. Rope broke. Instructor landed the aircraft without incident. Ops. Impact -- unknown.
