at Picton, Ontario
Summary
1995-07-12: At approximately 700' AGL, the rope released from the tow plane. Before the rope could be released from the glider, the rope forced a back release from the glider. The glider performed a crosswind landing without incident. Investigation revealed that the tow pilot had not released the rope leading to the conclusion that the rope was improperly fastened to the tail tow hook of the tow aircraft. Ops. Impact -- unknown.
