Incident at Walkerton, Ontario (4 miles west)
Summary
1995-07-08: During a cross-country ferry of glider C-GBJR from Hanover to Kincardine, approximately seven minutes into the flight, the glider pilot advised the tow aircraft by radio or smoke being emitted from the left side of the engine cowling. Tow aircraft proceeded over Lang Farm, a private grass strip, and released the glider. Tow aircraft advised Hanover unicom of intentions and landed without further incident. Glider landed without incident. Ops. Impact -- unknown.
