Summary

1997-07-22: During the pushback, the flight attendants reported smoke in the rear of the aircraft. The aircraft was shut down and ERS responded. No indication of fire was found. Maintenance suspects that residual fuel in the APU may have caused the problem. From a TSB Initial Notification.
