Incident at TORONTO / BILLY BISHOP TORONTO CITY AIRPORT ON (CYTZ) (Incursion - runway - pedestrian)
Summary
1997-05-02: Aircraft taxied to position, runway 26. Pedestrian walked in front of the plane and around it. Aircraft was cleared for takeoff when pedestrian was clear of the runway. Airport Manager and Metro Police Marine Unit notified. Staff vehicle was sent to investigate and picked up the pedestrian on the south side of the airport, at Charlie taxiway. Metro police showed up and took care of the situation. Ops. Impact -- none.
