Incident at Aitken Lake, Ontario (25 nm NW Timmins) (Aerodrome - runway or taxiway surface condition)
Summary
1997-04-16: At 1902Z, C-FXJN departed Timmins for two lakes approximately 25 NW of Timmins. AT 2310Z, the pilot's wife reported aircraft overdue. After attempting contact on all frequencies with C-FXJN, RCC was notified. Agencies were contacted as per comsearch. RCC332 located C-FXJN at aproximately 1350Z on Feb. 27th. Aircraft had become stuck in slush after landing on Aitken Lake. The pilot was picked up and returned to Timmins at 1401Z. Ops. Impact -- unknown.
