Incident at Regina, Saskatchewan
Summary
1997-04-01: Westwind 1200 WEW was inbound to Regina from Yorkton on a return leg of a routine bag run. The pilot advised ATC that he had shut down and secured the starboard engine. The aircraft was landed without further incident. Company maintenance advised that the oil breather line had frozen up on the flight to Yorkton. The engine was cleaned and inspected. New oil was added to the engine and the aircraft was put back in service. Further inspection of the engine at Regina, revealed metal in the screen which suggests a lack of lubrication.
