Summary

1997-04-01: American Airlines AAL888, a Fokker 100 (FK10) was observed with a fire in the #2 engine. The aircraft was parked in west hold on Apron one for engine start. The ground advised the pilot that the aircraft was on fire. The pilot requested ERS. Standdown at 1415Z. No other aircraft were inconvenienced.
